Joe Lustik's Bio

Original Location: Born Joe Lustik, 4/22/65 in Lexington, KY, but raised mostly in Cincinnati, OH.
Education: I graduated from the Cincinnati School for Creative and Performing Arts in 1983 with a major in Instrumental Music (violin), and a minor in Creative Writing.

I went on to attend The Ohio State University studying Engineering and Philosophy for 4.5 years without getting a degree.

Giving up on my goal of an Engineering Degree, I picked up pursuit of a Philosophy Degree at Georgia State University for another year, but did not finish.

Previous Occupation: For the next fourteen years (on and off) I wasinvolved in the sale of computer technology, as a salesperson or in sales management:

Micro Center: (Columbus, OH - sales; Atlanta, GA - sales management.)

Computer Source: (Columbia and Charleston, SC - sales management.)

Pomeroy Computer Resources: (Cincinnati, OH - sales; Charlotte, NC - sales management.)

Previous Adventures: 1993 Four corner Motorcycle trip.  Total time of 4 months, 26,000 miles.

1997 AT (Appalachian Trail) Thru-Hike.   Started in Georgia, on March 22, 1997 and ended on Mt. Katahdin, Maine, October 7, 1997 - 2160.2 miles.

Hobbies: Traveling, motorcycling, backpacking, skiing, fiddling and sailing.
Other: I'm 6'5", 215 lbs, losing my hair, and am in love with my wife.
